Orthodontic treatment
If your adult teeth have grown crooked or oddly positioned, or if your top and bottom teeth don't meet correctly when you bite together, you'll benefit from orthodontic treatment to reposition them into a straight, healthy and comfortable smile. There are a variety of treatment approaches and the braces can even be invisible.
Once we have finalised your treatment plan, which may take more than one visit, we will arrange to fit your customized appliance to help guide your teeth into the correct position. We will also show you how to look after your teeth and appliance during treatment, carefully advise you what to expect and answer any further questions you may have. You will then have to visit us regularly (usually every 7 to 8 weeks) to have your appliance adjusted. Teeth are moved slowly and steadily into their correct position, and treatment typically takes several months, although our patients are constantly amazed how quickly improvements can be seen.
